Use Cases
Pluely for Recruiters & Hiring
Fourth phone screen of the day. You're still typing the candidate's last answer while missing their current one — and the scorecard is blank. Pluely ends that tradeoff. It sits in a small always-on-top overlay while you interview, transcribes both sides live with speaker labels, suggests your next question automatically, and turns every call into an ATS-ready summary — without a bot ever joining the meeting.
Note-taking is the wrong job for a recruiter
The hardest part of a screen isn't the conversation — it's capturing it while staying present. Typing breaks rapport. A visible meeting bot makes candidates self-conscious and often violates client confidentiality policies. Pluely listens locally from your own machine, so nothing external joins the call, and you still walk away with a complete, speaker-labeled record.
Before the call: load your process into Pluely
Create a custom prompt in Prompts and attach the job description and your scorecard as knowledge files. Then turn on Automatic responses set to respond after every pause: at each natural break, Pluely proposes the next competency question or follow-up probe, generated from your scorecard, the job spec, and everything the candidate has said so far. Set the pace to Relaxed so suggestions land at conversational lulls — never mid-answer — and short remarks like "mm-hm" never trigger one.
During the call
- Speaker-labeled live transcript cleanly separates your questions from the candidate's answers — the raw material for a fair, evidence-based scorecard.
- Consistent structured interviews. With the scorecard driving suggestions, less experienced interviewers cover the same competencies in the same order, panel after panel.
- Screen-share moments covered. Candidate walks through a portfolio or a take-home exercise? Screenshot it and sanity-check the approach in Ask mode without derailing the conversation.
- Budget in view. Each suggestion uses one AI request, and your remaining allowance is always visible (Plans & usage).
After the call
Press Stop and the session saves as a meeting. Generate a summary of strengths, concerns, and next steps, then paste it into your ATS — five minutes of post-call admin becomes one tap. Debriefs and hiring-committee calls transcribe the same way, so disagreements about what a candidate actually said get settled by the transcript, not by memory.
Set it up in two minutes
- Switch to Listen mode and grant microphone + screen-recording permission — screen recording is how Pluely hears the candidate's side of the call.
- Select your recruiting prompt and enable automatic responses.
- Press Start listening as the call connects; press Stop when it ends. The meeting saves automatically.
Why Pluely
- No visible bot — candidates stay comfortable, client confidentiality stays intact.
- Speaker labels separate candidate evidence from interviewer prompts.
- Scorecard-driven automatic suggestions keep interviews structured and consistent.
- Works identically for phone screens, video interviews, and in-person laptop calls — any app your computer plays.
- Strict data policy? Bring your own provider keys (encrypted on device) or connect a local CLI — see Choosing your AI.
