Use Qwen Code with Pluely

Connect Qwen Code — Alibaba's open-source AI CLI with a generous free tier — and the Pluely overlay answers through Qwen3-Coder models, locally.

1. Install and sign in

Install Qwen Code (for example npm install -g @qwen-code/qwen-code) and run qwen once in your terminal to sign in. If it answers there, Pluely can use it.

2. Connect it in Pluely

1. Open the dashboard → Dev space → Connect your CLI.
2. Pluely detects Qwen Code automatically. Click Connect.
3. It appears at the top of the overlay's model picker as Your CLI.

Workspace-trust handling is automatic — no flags, no errors.

3. Pick a model

• Default (CLI decides) — always works.
• Qwen3 Coder Plus / Qwen3 Coder Flash — one click each.
• Custom model id — anything your account offers.

Images and thinking

Attached screenshots ride along (Qwen's models are vision-capable), and thinking output is filtered so only the final answer shows.
