Image Uploads & Screenshots

Pluely can see your screen. Attach a screenshot or an image to any question and Pluely will read charts, error messages, UI, handwriting, diagrams — whatever's in the picture.

Three ways to capture

  • Full screen — grab everything on your display in one shot.
  • Region select — a fullscreen selector appears; drag a box around exactly the part you care about, or press Esc to cancel. Works across multiple monitors.
  • Drop an image — already have a picture or diagram? Attach it directly.

Ask about what's on screen

Once an image is attached, ask naturally:

  • "What's causing this error?" (with a screenshot of the stack trace)
  • "Summarize what this dashboard is showing."
  • "Turn this whiteboard photo into a bulleted list."
  • "What does this diagram mean?"

Auto-screenshot (Pro)

On paid plans, Pluely can attach a screenshot for you automatically:

  • Once — one screenshot with your next question.
  • Interval — capture and ask on a repeating timer, so Pluely keeps commenting on a changing screen.

Set the capture delay (handy for switching to the right window first) and the interval in settings.

Privacy

Screenshots are only captured when you ask for them (or when you've explicitly enabled auto-screenshot). Screen capture needs your operating system's screen-recording permission.
