What's New in Pluely — July 2026
The July release is the biggest since launch. The headline: Pluely now answers for you during live meetings — automatically, on your terms. Update to the latest version to get everything below (how to update).
Automatic responses in meetings
The new in-meeting copilot. Pluely watches the live transcript and responds on its own — you pick the trigger and the pace:
- When a question is asked (default) — smart, on-device question detection that works even when the transcription drops the question mark.
- After every pause — the continuous copilot, ideal for live translation and running notes.
- Off — manual Suggest only.
- Pace control — Fast / Balanced / Relaxed set how quickly Pluely jumps in and how tightly responses are spaced. It never answers mid-sentence.
- Built-in cost protection — short remarks never trigger a response, repeated questions aren't answered twice, detection is free, and the control shows your remaining monthly AI requests live.
Every response is generated from your selected prompt, the files attached to it (your résumé, spec, pricing sheet), and the live transcript. Full guide: Automatic responses.
Model picker upgrades
- Web search models — two entries pinned to the top of the picker, Web Search and Perplexity Search, for answers grounded in current information from the internet.
- Search the catalog — a search box pinned at the top of the picker filters the model list live.
- Capability ordering — models are sorted strongest-first, and the list you see is exactly the catalog your plan includes.
Details: the overlay model picker.
Listen mode improvements
- Better speaker labels — voices are told apart automatically (Speaker 1, Speaker 2, …) with echo cancellation, so call audio is never transcribed twice.
- Live language list — dozens of transcription languages, fetched live, with multilingual auto-detect.
- Budget clarity — a live countdown of remaining monthly transcription time; paused time costs nothing; sessions end gracefully at a natural break when time runs out.
- Compact view — pop the live transcript into a small picture-in-picture panel.

Ask mode & overlay polish
- "Use image" — attach a fresh screenshot to every question automatically, with a clear "Capturing screen…" status while it happens.
- Stop button — cut off a streaming answer instantly.
- Latest / All tabs — the answer-panel view switcher is now a clear pair of segmented tabs.
- Quick-action chips — Dashboard, Docs, and (when unlicensed) Upgrade, right beside the status pill.
Docs
- This documentation site — over a hundred detailed pages, full-text ⌘K search that deep-links to the exact section, and comparison guides if you're evaluating alternatives.
